gadsden review tweet report logo

Possibly a regular feature- we shall see- the best of today’s #teaparty Tweets:

Today’s tweets focus on the still-emerging Obama Administration scandals.  The question that should be asked is, do we think such abuses are exclusive to this administration?  Perhaps the most important news to emerge today is this- progressives are creating memes comparing Obama to Bush.

———   gadsden review favicon real Is there a common ground that can be found between progressives and conservatives over the government overreach?  A telling evidence of where the progressives might be with Obama could be seen in the emergence of Bush-Obama memes now surfacing on the left.  If Obama gets “Bushed”, consider his base of support finished.

——– gadsden review favicon real This is an unsubstantiated report, but I thought this paragraph was most telling-

“If anyone thinks that what’s going on right now with all of this surveillance of American citizens is to fight some sort of foreign enemy, they’re delusional. If people think that this ‘scandal’ can’t get any worse, it will, hour by hour, day by day. This has the ability to bring down our national leadership, the administration and other senior elected officials working in collusion with this administration, both Republican and Democrats. People within the NSA, the Department of Justice, and others, they know who they are, need to come forth with the documentation of ‘policy and practice’ in their possession, disclose what they know, fight what’s going on, and just do their job. I have never seen anything like this, ever. The present administration is going after leakers, media sources, anyone and everyone who is even suspected of ‘betrayal.’ That’s what they call it, ‘betrayal.’ Can you believe the size of their cahones? This administration considers anyone telling the truth about Benghazi, the IRS, hell, you name the issue, ‘betrayal,’” he said.

——–gadsden review favicon real The sheer volume that this IRS targeting generated should tell you there is much more to this scandal than rogue Cincinatti employees.   The IRS is claiming it is going through what appears to be 64 million pages of documentation to find out who knew what.  But as Danny Werfel, recently one of Obama’s close Cabinet men (he was the former OMB Director), is on the job, we can relax.
